Morningstar’s SunSaver™ is the world’s leading small solar charge controller for professional and consumer applications. This device includes a combination of features and capabilities not found in other small PV controllers. It is rated for Hazardous Locations – Class 1, Division 2 Groups A-D, making it the preferred choice for Oil & Gas applications.

Morningstar is pleased to introduce the third generation SunSaver. Its first market introduction was in 1996. Since then, over 1 million SunSaver controllers have been installed in over 73 countries. This charge controller has many applications including oil/gas, telecom and instrumentation, marine and boating, and remote homes. The SunSaver includes the same ratings, footprint, and simple user interface as its predecessor. However, we have added several new and advanced high-value features like LVD and Telecom mode! 12V versions include SS-6-12V, SS-6L-12V, SS-10-12V, SS-10L-12V, and SS-20L-12V. Similarly, the 24V versions include SS-10L-24V and  SS-20L-24V.
